Dr. Lewit Worrell
Board Certified Otolaryngologist
Dr. Worrell is a board certified Otolaryngologist who completed his medical and surgical training at Loma Linda University. He also holds a Masters Degree in Neurophysiology. His practice is general adult and pediatric Otorhinolaryngology, treating all diseases of the ear, nose and throat,head and neck region.
Cosmetic and Reconstructive Treatments
He also provides cosmetic and reconstructive treatment in the head and neck region; skin care, rhinoplasty, scar revision etc. Special areas of expertise are: thyroid and parathyroid surgery with minimal access techniques using continuous nerve monitoring with the use of ultrasonic technology and video-assisted endoscopic surgery with balloon dilation techniques as well as full-time computer navigation to perform sinus surgery in an out-patient hospital setting or in the office under local anesthesia in an virtually painless awake patient. He was one of the first surgeons in the San Gabriel Valley to perform in office Balloon Sinuplasty in the awake patient . He very rarely uses nasal packing for his outpatient sinus surgeries – the removal of which is often more dreaded and remembered than the sinus surgery itself.

He is frequently sought out in the community to give seminars and talks and is known as the “Doctors Doctor”: The Doctor that other Doctors come to and send their family to receive treatment.” He is presently the Chief of Staff and Chief of Surgery at The San Dimas Community Hospital – a position he has held for several years. But when all is said and done he is probably known best for his gentille bedside manner. And in the end that is why his patients keep coming back to him.
